I had a whirlwind anniversary weekend the past few days. Daniel came down to Austin and we took a little trip to Fredericksburg to do some hiking at the Enchanted Rock, browsing some of the little boutiques around town, and eating at all of the amazing restaurants (the Fredericksburg Herb Farm for dinner & Sunset Grill for brunch were my faves.)
Then yesterday, before taking him back to the airport he got down on one knee and popped the question! I really don’t remember what he said because I was crying so much. But it was magical and a moment I will never forget for the rest of my life! I promise not to bombard yall with wedding planning details, we’re not going to start planning for a few more months… We have a few things to figure out first – like the 8 hour distance between us!

I’ve been spending a good portion of my day reading the new Vogue, and I was a little surprised when I came across this shoot at the very end of the magazine. I don’t know if yall remember or not but I took some pictures for my blog over the holidays (nowhere near as good as these) while I was in Amarillo at the Cadillac Ranch. Turns out Vogue had the same idea too, plus Karlie Kloss (who is all over Vogue by the way) looks killer in these pictures. I have to admit, it did make me a little giddy just thinking that Karlie Kloss + Vogue were in Amarillo, TX shooting at the same place where I’ve been several times.
